Okay, I don't really like this performance but I do like this song.I'm really for thinking outside of the box.The amount of people hating on this song is unreal to say the least but I guess if he was rapping about selling crack,gangbangin, or killing someones Grandmother again. It would be fine with some.Time to break down the walls of limits in music / everything in general & take things to a new level.Just my 2 cent.

T.I.'s New MTV Show Debuting Feb.10th

“T.I.”s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go”, bows Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. on the cable channel. Described as part “Diary,” part “Scared Straight,” the show will follow his attempts to change the lives of troubled teens, as well as offer a behind-the-scenes look at the two-time Grammy winner’s personal life, including the birth of his sixth child.
The title will change each week to reflect the time left until his sentencing, scheduled for March 27. After which, the last episode is set to air.
“MTV has always given artists a platform to get their stories and music out to their fans and this series reveals the unknown side of T.I.— one of the world’s greatest artists at the most precarious time in his life,” said Tony DiSanto, Executive Vice President, Series Development and Programming. “In the face of impending incarceration, T.I. is driven to ensure others do not make the same mistakes, and our cameras document every step along this road as he impacts and changes lives for the better. It is real-time redemption.”

This should be interesting to watch.Since T.I. was taken off of house arrest he has hit the ground running.2008 was a good year having 1 of the top selling albums and having very successful singles ''Whatever U Like'' & ''Live Your Life'' ft.Rihanna, ect.Despite the time will serve, I wish him the best in the future.

TIME SQUARE VIRGIN MEGASTORE CLOSING IN APRIL

The Times Square Virgin Megastore, which is the highest volume music store in the U.S., will shut down come April.

The store has been at the center of speculation since August 2007 when the Virgin Entertainment Group North America was acquired by two real estate companies - the Related Cos. and Vornado - in a joint venture.

Last June, a Vornado executive told Reuters that the store would shut down in the first quarter of 2009. The decision to close the store appears related to real estate and the value connected to the location. That executive was quoted as saying that Virgin pays only $54 per square-foot when the market rent in the area is about $700 a square foot.

So, while the store, which does an estimated $55 million in annual volume, is profitable to the tune of $6 million, according to sources, the space would be even more profitable for its owner with a higher rent tenant. Vornado bought the 180,000 square foot retail component of the Bertelsmann building, which houses the Times Square store, in 2006, and will lease the space to Forever 21, according to press reports.

Talking about a flip ''executive was quoted as saying that Virgin pays only $54 per square-foot when the market rent in the area is about $700 a square foot''.This will be a big flip for the owners of the property but I know people will miss the record signing artist use to have at Virgin.

Lil Kim Not Happy With ''Notorious'' Film

Lil Kim was a big part of the Notorious B.I.G.'s life, but she's not happy about the way she's portrayed in the new biopic about the late rapper.

The Notorious B.I.G . was Lil Kim's mentor and was also romantically linked to the rapper. Their sometimes rocky relationship is depicted in the new movie "Notorious," but Lil Kim doesn't think it's very accurate.

In a statement, she said: "The film studio and producers involved were more concerned about painting me as a 'character' to create a more interesting story line instead of a person with talent, self-respect and who was able to achieve her own career success through hard work."

She added: "Even though my relationship with Big was at times very difficult and complicated (as with most relationships we have all experienced at one time or another), it was also genuine and built on great admiration and love for each other. Regardless of the many lies in the movie and false portrayal of me to help carry a story line through, I will still continue to carry his legacy through my hard work and music."

But Wallace's mother, Voletta Wallace , dismissed Lil Kim's criticisms of the movie in an interview on Monday.

"This is not a Lil Kim movie ," she said. "This is a Christopher Wallace movie . It has nothing to do with Lil Kim. If she's disappointed and upset, that is her problem."

At the film's New York premiere last week, "Notorious" screenwriter Cheo Hodari Coker said he understands why Lil Kim might not like the film, but added: "I think that Naturi (Naughton) did a great job playing Kim. I think people are going to be a lot more sympathetic towards (Lil Kim) after seeing the movie."

Wayne Barrow — Biggie 's former manager and a producer on the movie — expressed less patience with Kim's attitude.

"Our job as producers ... was to deliver for three individuals. That's his mom and his two children. Everybody else: Stand in line, buy a ticket and enjoy the show."

"Notorious" chronicles the life and untimely death of the Notorious B.I.G ., who was shot to death in 1997 and remains one of rap's most important figures. It opens in theaters this Friday.

People that were around Biggie at the time says the film does great service to his legacy.Personally, I think the film will be great but I can respect Lil Kim's view.Only she knows how their relationship was behind closed doors.The movie is about the ''THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.'' & his life not the relationship of ''Biggie & Lil Kim''.I can't wait til FRIDAY.....'''BIGGIE LIVES ON''!!!

New 17″ Apple MacBook Pro

The battery in the new 17-inch MacBook Pro lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge¹ and can be recharged up to 1000 times² — compared with only 200 to 300 times for typical notebooks. To do this, Apple engineers custom-designed lithium-polymer cells to create the largest possible battery, then they went even further: They built the battery right into the computer, eliminating the space-consuming mechanisms and housings that standard removable batteries require. The result is a battery that’s 40 percent bigger than the previous generation and offers up to 8 hours of wireless productivity on a single charge — all in a notebook that’s less than an inch thin, weighs just 6.6 pounds,³ and remains the same price as the previous-generation model.

But building a battery that lasts up to 8 hours is only part of the story. Giving it a lifespan of up to 1000 recharges required breakthroughs in battery technology. Apple electro-chemists developed advanced chemistry that maintains the battery’s charging capabilities longer than ever. And while most notebooks wear down their batteries by charging them at a constant rate, the 17-inch MacBook Pro takes a different approach. Using an Apple-developed technology called Adaptive Charging, a microchip on the battery constantly communicates with the computer to determine the optimal way to charge its cells, adjusting the current up and down depending on a variety of conditions. Combined, these advancements offer a dramatic improvement in battery lifespan: more than three times the lifespan of typical notebook batteries — up to five years.
